YogaWell's 200-Hour Teacher Training Certification program is designed for those who are self-motivated and are in need of a program that is flexible (it's all about flexibility…), due to a full work, family or school schedule. Learning is a continuous and personal process, so our mission is to help you design an individualized accelerated training program based on your background and interests.
Because your program is designed around your goals you can direct your focus on any style of Hatha Yoga, such as Ashtanga or restorative, for example, or gain knowledge of numerous styles as you create your own teaching method. Your training program also allows you to concentrate your attention on specific student populations, such as children or seniors, if you so desire.
This is a Yoga Alliance Approved Certification.
What You'll Learn...
• Fundamental Yoga History, including an understanding of where Yoga is today
• Yoga Philosophy and Ethics, with an introduction to the Yoga Sutras
• An overview of Yoga styles, including but not limited to Hatha Yoga Asanas (poses)
• Essential Sanskrit terms and their meaning
• Energetic and Gross Anatomy & Physiology
• Hands-on Adjustments and Modifications
• An introduction to fundamental Meditation methods
• Basic Pranayama (breathing) techniques
• Skills to design well-rounded Yoga class, based on your students' needs and abilities
Your Training Packet Includes:
Eight Training Videos; Teaching Text; Instructing Hatha Yoga; Sanskrit Flash Cards; Study Manual; Vouchers for 2 Free Workshops of your choice. As part of your training, you are allowed to attend yoga classes at no cost at Café India.
Enrollment Costs and payment options:
$ 1800.00 - Fully paid in advance
$ 1900.00 - Two payments of $950.00 within 30 days of first payment. Payments made after 30 days of 1st payment will accrue an additional $50.00 per month, up to 6-months. After 6-months, the finance charge will increase to $75.00 each month until the balance in paid in full.
The mission of Institute of Progressive Therapies is to create individualized accelerated learning programs and to give you the most ideal options as you complete your training.
All payments must be complete in order to receive your certification.
